The website of Dutch beer brewer Heineken was redesigned in 2008. When I joined the project the basic visual design had already been worked on. My main responsibility as senior designer was to further develop the visual style and to manage three junior designers. We expanded the design where needed and made it visually more consistent across the site. I worked closely with the interaction designer and lead developer to insure feasibility and correct implementation of the design.
The site itself is a combination of a café directory, event calendar and music and ticket store all tied in to the Heineken brand.
