How I work
In projects I help clients create the best online experience possible for their customers. I take an integral approach, balancing the different ingredients and stakeholders. I ask the difficult questions and challenge existing ideas.
Depending on the project I deliver concepts, interaction designs and/or visual designs. I have worked as a designer for more than 8 years and I firmly believe that good user experience design is good for business.
I am a ‘T-shaped’ designer: firmly rooted in interaction design but reaching into other fields such as concepting, branding, visual design and web development. This allows me to work directly with both the marketing/client and development ends of a project, forming the bridge between the two.
Above all I am professional and curious. I enjoy working in multi disciplinary teams, combining knowledge from different fields, continuously learning new things and exploring ideas.
Organisations and agencies I have worked for
ABN Amro, AEGON, Eneco, Favela Fabric, Heineken, KLM, KPN, Lost Boys, Loyalis, Miele, New Shoes Today, Nieuwe Garde, O2, OER, Rijkswaterstaat, Scholz & Volkmer, SchoolTV, Shop Around, Studio Dumbar, User Intelligence, Vodafone.
What clients say about my work
There are not many designers around who are able to both grasp a challenge on a conceptual level and deliver original yet feasible interactive solutions. Bob clearly is in this league. Bob never takes a short cut while working on an assignment. Always great to have him in the team.Raul Lansink — partner CEO at Favela Fabric
